The PGIMER, Chandigarh invites Indian National candidates for walk-in-interview for the recruitment of one post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics purely on adhoc basis. The qualification, experience, pay-scale and age is given as under:- 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

a)            A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act).

b)            The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council.

c)            A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.S. Orthopaedics of an Indian University or equivalent degree recognized as such by the Medical Council of India.

EXPERIENCE:

 3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree M.S. 

PAY SCALE:

Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay Rs.8000/- with minimum pay of Rs.30,000/- + NPA. 

AGE LIMIT:   

The age limit is upto 50 years (age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rule). 

NOTE: Age and all other qualifications will be counted as on last date of receipt of application. 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

i.                     The candidates must ensure that they fulfil eligibility criteria.
