It is proposed to fill up 14 posts of following
categories in the Central Pay Scale, which has been notified in the
Employment Exchange, U.T., Chandigarh. The regular employee of the Institute
working on the other post and also those working in the Research Scheme can
also apply as departmental candidates provided they were initially recruited
through the Employment Exchange (working without break) and fulfill the
following qualifications: -

The qualification and experience
to the above posts is as under: -
Serial No.1 (Central Sterile Room Asstt.
Gr-II)
Essential:
i)
Atleast Matric with Science.
ii)
Certificate Course of
Operation Theatre Assistant of one year duration from this Institute.
OR
Diploma in Operation Theatre Technique which
would be preferred for the posts.
Serial No.2 (Assistant Laundry
Supervisor)
Essential:
i.
Matriculation
or its equivalent from a recognized Board/School.
ii.
Diploma/certificate in Mechanical Engineering; and
iii.
5 years
experience in a reputed mechanical laundry including practical experience of
handling maintaining and repairing of
laundry
equipment and knowledge of stores accounting.
Desirable
i)
Experience in drycleaning by machines;
ii)
Experience of handling large number of factory workers and
maintaining of accounts.
Serial No. 3 (Pharmacist Grade-II)
ESSENTIAL:
i)
Matriculation or its
equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
ii)
Diploma in Pharmacy from a
recognized Institute/Board.
iii)
Should be a registered
Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
DESIRABLE:-
i)
Degree in Pharmacy from a
recognized Institute/University.
ii)
Experience in dispensary
and/or storage and dispensing of drugs in a reputed hospital or institution
or in a drug store of
pharmaceutical concern.
AGE LIMIT: -
18 to 30 years as on 17.3.2010 (3 years relaxable to OBC and 5 years to
SC/ST candidates and to Govt. servant/departmental candidates as per rules).
Selection procedure:
Written test - 85 marks
Interview - 15 marks

either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed and
stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope (27cmX12cm) alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs.325/-
for Gen./OBC candidates (Rs.175/- for SC/ST candidates) (Non-refundable)
drawn in favour of the Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh payable at State Bank
of India, Sector-12, Chandigarh (Code No.1524) as cost of application
form and fee (non refundable) etc.
A Demand Draft of Rs.300/- for Gen./OBC
candidates (Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates) should be enclosed with
application downloaded from our website towards non-refundable
application fee and cost of application form etc. Incomplete applications
and the applications received after the due date i.e. after 17.3.2010 will
be summarily rejected.
